I'm Christine and I'm the host of Flourish In the Foreign, a podcast that elevates and affirms the stories of Black women who live and thrive abroad. I'll be speaking with women who are from all over the world and who live all over the world.

Women who own their own businesses, who are climbing the corporate ladder, who are artists and creatives that have found and built a platform for their work and women who are location independent. And everyone in between.

I'll also talk with them about how they navigate local politics, economy, and community, and how their home country’s, politics, economy, and culture affects them, even abroad.

A big deterrent for anyone living abroad, actually staying abroad is an absence of really understanding what wellness and what a life well lived really means to them. Black women who have stayed abroad have very clear ideas of the life they want to live, or at the very least, the life they know for sure they do not want to live. They are willing to create the life that they want and they're willing to be flexible in its development and cultivation.

I'll also be talking to experts to have the knowledge and resources to support black women living and thriving abroad. These are therapists, financial advisors, online community creators, HR professionals, life coaches, business advisors, and basically anyone supporting Black women.
