Meet Starr
Starr Session Varga is a Travel Influencer who has been documenting her life as an expat in Budapest, Hungary since 2017. As the founder of Black Girl In Budapest, her time is dedicated to helping travelers and future expats through her blog.
Starr spent 12 years in Los Angeles where she earned her Bachelors’s Degree in Journalism. She was born in New York and raised in Charlotte, N.C.
Her blog has been featured on Fodors.com, Huffington Post, and Travel Noir. She has given various interviews to Hungarian news outlets such as RTL Klub, Velvet, Expat Arrivals, and Xpat Loop about life as a Budapest Travel Blogger. She was also a guest speaker for the 2019 Urban Adventures conference in Budapest.
