“Doing Italy” with Thea Duncan in Milan

In this episode of Flourish in the Foreign, Thea discusses her journey from studying abroad to living in Italy. She shares her experiences navigating the Italian health system during her pregnancy, the challenges and joys of raising a bilingual and multicultural child, and her entrepreneurial journey of helping others move to Italy.

Meet Thea

Thea Duncan is the fairy Godmother to people's Dolce Vita dreams. As the Founder of Doing Italy, she and her team help people gain the knowledge and resources they need to move to Italy and/or buy property in Italy with ease - while avoiding many of the pitfalls that negatively affect other expats when moving abroad.

What resources (books, blogs, services, apps) did you utilize to help you go abroad & thrive abroad?

I used one immigration attorney, way too late.

When I moved there were no (or almost no) blogs, books, etc

What is the motto (affirmation, prayer, poem, song lyrics, etc.) that you live by?

My life by design. Finding my joy
